LENT COURSE

This year’s Lent Course is a little different from previous ones, and we are running three parallel groups. The morning sessions are on Thursday at the Vicarage, led by the Vicar; the afternoon sessions are on Wednesdays in St Christopher’s Church led by Revd Gladys Finlayson; and the evening sessions are on Monday evenings at 24 Eaton Valley Road, led by our Reader, Sandra Riley. Whilst you may wish to attend all the sessions at one venue, you are welcome to go to whichever you like whenever you like, to fit your personal programme.

This year’s course has been prepared by our three bishops, and is based on the gospel readings used at communion services on Sundays, so that should help us all to think them through in a little more detail and to see what practical implications they have for our lives.

Do take this opportunity to deepen your faith and reflect, which is of course very much what Lent is all about.

Vision for Action

This year the Diocese of St Albans will launch a Vision for Action. The aim of this project is for all who worship in this Diocese to capture and realise the full potential of our vision for the future.

Women’s World
Third Wednesday of each month at 7-30 pm.

Wednesday Guild
Wednesdays at 2-30 to 3-30 pm

St. Anne’s - Circle Dancing. This is gentle movement that is both therapeutic and spiritually uplifting.
Try it, on the third Tuesday of each Month.
