WHAT CAN PARENTLINE PLUS DO FOR YOU?
Introducing the new Outreach and Development Worker in Herts for Parentline Plus:- As many of you may know, Parentline Plus is the national charity that offers a confidential freephone 24 hour helpline to anyone with parenting issues. As such we offer immediate support and information to parents and deal with the whole spectrum of issues that parenting in today’s world presents us with. What you may not be aware of is the additional range of services that Parentline Plus offers, and it is my role to help you as a parenting professional, and thus parents themselves, have greater access to our services. In brief our services are:
Help line 0808 800 2222: Parentline Plus run a free 24 hour, confidential help line, which is available 7 days a week, 52 weeks of the year. Our help line is run by trained volunteers who have experience of parenting. Our volunteers offer support and information to parents and carers on a range of parenting issues and above all they are there to offer a listening ear. At Parentline Plus we believe that asking for help and support is a sign of strength and know that being a parent is one of the most difficult jobs we undertake. We also offer a free text-phone service for people with speech or hearing impairments - 0800 783 6783.
