This could well be your first view of St. Anne's Church as you climb St.Anne's Hill from Luton town centre. The church sits at corner of Hart Lane and Crawley Green Road, is built in a typical 1930's style and constructed of locally made bricks. The tiled roof is surmounted by a turret containing a single bell.

A number of tall conifer trees mark the boundary on the south side and west end of the church, these prevent a clear view of the church from the road but serve to provide a quieter area between the the busy road and the entrance to the church.

Inside the building the space is split into two main areas, the church at the east end, which is a permanent worship area and the hall at the west end which is used for all other activities.
Over the years the church has undergone considerable internal change before reaching it's present arrangement.
The photographs below show the chancel as it is today. The casings either side of the alter contain the oran pipes.
The design in the border of this page is a detail from the chancel windows.
