A Wall of Flowers
St Anne’s Church in Crawley Green Road celebrates her 70th birthday with a massive two-day spring flower festival. The festival opens with a preview on Friday evening 9th May followed by a weekend of displays, activities, quizzes and demonstrations. more....

70 Years Young....
St Anne’s was dedicated back on 2nd April 1938 by the then Bishop of St Albans. The foundation stone had been laid on 17th July 1937 by Miss Green, JP, and at that time the new building was technically a Chapel of Ease and was within what was then the Parish of St Mary’s. more....

Grief and Loss ....and Funerals For many people, and maybe you, there hasn’t been much good news recently. In fact you may have not felt happy for a long while. Your feelings at best are bearable, at worst intolerable. If that is the case, you may well be in grief due to loss.

Gestures and Movements
When we pray we offer our whole self to God: we pray from our hearts and we often express our prayer through our bodies. We pray with words or in silence and also with body language—facial expression and movement. It’s powerful and almost instinctive. One gesture is often worth a thousand words! It can express attitude and state of mind, and when it accompanies words, can point up their deeper meaning to us.
